Panasonic WJ-SX150A 16x4 Matrix System WJSX150A

The WJ-SX150A Matrix Switcher features 16 camera inputs and 4 monitor outputs in a 16 X 4 cross point configuration that allows multiple units to be connected to each other or to analog recorders without sacrificing any of the primary inputs. The unit’s cascade feature allows up to four units to be easily configured for satellite system operation. This provides substantial savings in installation costs and eliminates the need for alarm contacts to be run back to a central control point. All switchers in a cascaded system can be controlled from one control point or from any of three remote control points.

In addition, the WJ-SX150A Matrix Switcher offers RS485 and Panasonic’s “up-the- coax” control; VD2 for automatic sync; cable compensation up to 3000 feet; and Panasonic’s PS-Data for enhanced control of Panasonic’s digital and analog recorders, multiplexers, unitized cameras and controllers.

Additional features of the WJ-SX150A Matrix Switcher include: password protection with user access levels; 16 alarm inputs with memory; programmable tour, group and sequence switching; timer event programming; built in video loss detection; 16 channel multi-screen display; pan, tilt and zoom control.

The WJSX150A Matrix Switcher’s operation can be further enhanced with the optional WJ-SXB151 Multiplexer Board to provide multi-screen display, zoom, still and multi-screen sequence, and to enable digital disk recorder or time lapse VCR operation when connected via the matrix switcher’s DATA HDR or serial ports.
