The DVD version has all of the features and benefits already found in our DVR-T16IP Triplex DVR, but we have replaced the CD/RW with a DVD Recorder. The DVD allows for extended backups and archiving of previously recorded events. Now up to 6 times more information can be "burned" as needed onto a single disc. This extra capacity is not needed by everybody, but power users will welcome this new technology. DVD recordings can be easily removed from the DVR and played on any PC computer running "Windows" via "Windows Media Player" or other program that handle "AVI" files.

16 Channel Triplex Digital Video Recorder with no HDD

The T-16IP allows record, playback and view live options simultaneously. This triplex operation includes ethernet connectivity for remote access. The DVR-T16IP features intelligent record, search and playback functions, advanced multiplexer functions, removable hard drive, alarm input and an advanced embedded operating system. Also featured is an IEEE-1394 interface for extended storage, programmable recording frame rate, one channel audio recording/playback and two levels of passwords to secure installation authorization.

It has a built-in CD-RW for archiving recorded video in AVI format and built-in multiple speed dome camera control protocols. You can also export configuration and video files to a thumb drive.
